It's the Veteran, not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion.
It's the Veteran, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press.
It's the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It's the Veteran, not the attorney, who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It's the Veteran, not the politician, who has given us the right to vote.
It's the Veteran who salutes the flag.
It's the Veteran who serves under the flag.
It's the Veteran, who understands the personal cost of the Pledge of Allegiance.
As we celebrate Veteran's Day, let us all remember the sacrifices they have made for us, and honor those who are serving today to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.
